Britain's proud sea heritage is on show at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich.

The museum, the largest of its kind in the world, has recently been refurbished, with new galleries and interactive displays.

Topics range from Nelson, naval exploits and navigation to exploration and discovery, 20th century seapower and trade and empire.

Among the activities visitors can try their hand at are signalling and gunnery. Visitors can also enjoy plenty of poetry, art and photography at the museum.
