Following a rather quiet spell in The Land of Blog, I am pleased to note that things are picking up nicely. My latest blogs were so popular that I am proud to announce that I now have fans in Europe; Belgium, to be precise. Your Lord has now gone international.

For the last couple of years or so, thousands of you have followed my blog in NewsShoppershire and gleaned much knowledge from my broad intellect. Granted, I am smarter than the average bear, so I suppose it's not that surprising.

It has been a pleasure to educate the masses and I have gained a great deal of satisfaction from knowing that I have achieved so much in such a short space of time.

My latest fans are the dog owners of Europe and, owing to popular demand, I have made the decision to open a Facebook account. I'm sure that by going international, millions of people will soon walk into the light and sit at my knee, in awe of my wisdom, wit and generosity.

I will retire to bed tonight satisfied in the knowledge that I will soon be spreading myself globally.

I thank you all for your continued support and look forward to your displays of praise and admiration. Naturally, I have been humbled (well, a bit) by the adoration shown by fans old and new; so much so that I will endeavour to selflessly write on a more regular basis for years to come.

Folks, I really couldn't have climbed onto the world stage without you.
