The Deutsche Börse Photography Prize is a prestigious award is given to a living photographer from any country who has contributed greatly in new art movements of the past year. The shortlisted artists who are Anna Fox, Zoe Leonard, Sophie Ristelhueber and Donovan Wylie have exhibited their interesting, quirky photographs which each comment on an aspect of social life and human impacts on a particular area. The works of these four talented artists are displayed at the Photographers’ Gallery situated just off Oxford Street from 12th February till 18th April 2010.

The exhibition portrays fantastic and thought provoking works of the four artists. Anna Fox explores the mundane, weird and retro lives of the common British folk. Zoe Leonard looks at the way regeneration of places have completely transformed an area, however showing that the old still reminisces. Sophie Ristelhueber focuses on how warfare and destructive human behaviour shapes landscapes and architecture.
