THE BROMLEY (CONTROLLED PARKING) (ON STREET PLACES) ORDER 2004 (AMENDMENT NO. 35) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2010.

(BECKFORD DRIVE, PETTS WOOD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 10th March 2010 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 9 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) which will come into operation on 29th March 2010.

The effect of the Orders will be to:-
(a) introduce waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) introduce free parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

The scheme will be reviewed after being in operation for six months and if successful may be made permanent under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Any person wishing to object to the indefinite continuation of the Orders, may, within a period of six months from the day on which the experimental Orders came into force, send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Director of Environment, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)RP/T100/543.

Schedule:
WAITING RESTRICTIONS No Waiting between 8am and 10am and 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:-
BECKFORD DRIVE, Petts Wood, both sides, from a point 10m east of the eastern kerbline of Crofton Lane eastwards to its extremity.

FREE PARKING PLACES BECKFORD DRIVE, Petts Wood, (a) the south side, (i) from a point 2m east of the eastern flank wall of No. 1 eastwards for a distance of 6m (1 parking place); (ii) from a point 1m east of the eastern flank wall of No. 2 eastwards for a distance of 5m (1 parking place); (iii) from a point 0.5m east of the eastern flank wall of No. 3 eastwards for a distance of 5m (1 parking place); (iv) from the eastern flank wall of No. 4 eastwards for a distance of 5m (1 parking place); (v) from a point 0.5m east of the eastern flank wall of No.

5 eastwards for a distance of 6m (1 parking place); (vi) from a point 1m east of the eastern flank wall of No. 6 eastwards for a distance of 5m (1 parking place); (vii) from the eastern flank wall of No. 7 eastwards for a distance of 5.5m (1 parking place); (viii) from a point 0.5m east of the eastern flank wall of No. 8 eastwards for a distance of 6m (1 parking place); (ix) from a point 0.5m east of the eastern flank wall of No. 9 eastwards for a distance of 5m (1 parking place); (x) from a point 4m east of the eastern flank wall of No. 10 eastwards for a distance of 6m (1 parking place); (b) the south west side, from a point 1m west of the eastern flank wall of No. 12 north westwards for a distance of 4.5m (1 parking place).
