The Bromley (Free Parking Places) (Time Restricted) Order 1997 (Amendment No.**) Order 2010.
The Bromley (On Street Parking Places) (Orpington Area) Order 2006 (Amendment No. **) Order 2010.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) introduce/extend/amend the waiting and loading restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) remove one time restricted free parking space in Anerley Road, Penge (near its junction with Anerley Park) and replace with At Any Time waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(c) introduce additional Pay and Display parking spaces in Park Road, Beckenham as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(d) redefine the location of the Pay and Display parking spaces in Lych Gate Road, Orpington following the relocation of the entrance to Orpington College car park as specified in the Schedule to this notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/542 not later than 31st March 2010.
Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
SCHEDULE:-
WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time:- ANERLEY PARK, Penge, (a) the west side, from the north eastern kerbline of Anerley Road northwards for a distance of 25m; (b) the east side, from the north eastern kerbline of Anerley Road northwards to a point 3m north of the party wall of Nos. 2 & 4.
ANERLEY ROAD, Penge, the north east side, from a point 13m north west of the western kerbline of Anerley Park south eastwards to a point 15m south east of the eastern kerbline of Anerley Park.
BECKENHAM LANE, Bromley, the even numbered side, from the western kerbline of Highland Road westwards to a point 8m west of the eastern flank wall of Nos. 1, 3 & 5 Abingdon Lodge.
BRIDGE ROAD, Beckenham, the north side, from a point 18.29m south west of the south western kerbline of Copers Cope Road south westwards to the eastern kerbline of Bridgelands Close.
CRAY AVENUE, Orpington, the west side, from a point 57m south of the southern kerbline of Cray Valley Road northwards to a point 6m north of the northern kerbline of Cray Valley Road.
CRAY VALLEY ROAD, St. Mary Cray, both sides, from the western kerbline of Cray Avenue westwards for a distance of 20m.
CROYDON ROAD, Penge, the south east side, from a point 3m north east of the party wall of Nos. 139 & 141 south westwards to a point 10m south west of the south western kerbline of Samos Road.
HIGH STREET, Bromley, the north west side, fronting the entrance to the pedestrian area, between its junction with the north western kerbline of Ethelbert Road and its junction with the north western kerbline of Elmfield Road.
HIGHLAND ROAD, Bromley, the even numbered side, from the northern kerbline of Beckenham Lane northwards for a distance of 20m.
REPTON ROAD, Orpington, (a) the south west side, from the south eastern kerbline of Sevenoaks Road south eastwards to a point 1m north west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 7 & 9; (b) the north east side, from the south eastern kerbline of Sevenoaks Road south eastwards to the party wall of Nos. 5 & 7.
ROOKERY LANE, Bromley, the north side, from a point 31m south west of the south western kerbline of Bromley Common south westwards for a distance of 80m.
SEVENOAKS ROAD, Orpington, (a) the east side, from the north eastern kerbline of Repton Road northwards to a point 4m south of the party wall of Nos. 77 & 79; (b) the west side, from a point 24m north of the north eastern kerbline of Tower Road southwards to a point 22m south of the south western kerbline of Tower Road.
TOWER ROAD, Orpington, (a) the south west side, from the western kerbline of Sevenoaks Road north westwards for a distance of 16m; (b) the north east side, from the western kerbline of Sevenoaks Road north westwards for a distance of 25m.
WIMBORNE WAY, Beckenham, both sides, from the north western kerbline of Croydon Road north westwards for a distance of 17m.
No Waiting between 8.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:-
COPERS COPE ROAD, Beckenham, (a) the north and east sides, (i) from a point 45m west of the western kerbline of Southend Road westwards to a point 13m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Lawn Road; (ii) from a point 28m north west of the north western kerbline of Lawn Road north westwards to a point 7m south of the northern boundary of Beech Court; (b) the south and west side, (i) from a point 45m west of the western kerbline of Southend Road westwards to the common boundary of Willow Court and Marlborough Court; (ii) from a point 11m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Sellindge Close north westwards to a point 15m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Bridge Road; (iii) from a point 19m north west of the north western kerbline of Bridge Road northwards to a point 38m south of the southern kerbline of Park Road; (iv) from a point 6m north of the common boundary of Nos.
69 & 71 northwards to a point 7m north of the party wall of Nos. 85 & 87.
SELLINDGE CLOSE, Beckenham, both sides, from the south western kerbline of Copers Cope Road south westwards to a point 2m north east of the north eastern flank wall of Nos. 10 to 15 Shipbourne House.
No Loading At Any Time:-
CROYDON ROAD, Penge, the south east side, from a point 3m north east of the party wall of Nos. 139 & 141 south westwards to a point 10m south west of the south western kerbline of Samos Road.
HIGH STREET, Bromley, the north west side, fronting the entrance to the pedestrian area, between its junction with the north western kerbline of Ethelbert Road and its junction with the north western kerbline of Elmfield Road.
WAITING RESTRICTIONS - REMOVALS
DENNARD WAY, Orpington, (a) the south west side, (i) from a point 0.5m north west of the common boundary of Nos. 9 & 11 south eastwards for a distance of 5m; (ii) from the party wall of Nos. 11 & 13 south eastwards to its extremity; (b) the south east side, the full width of the road fronting the entrance to No. 15.
PAY & DISPLAY PARKING
Pay and Display parking between 8.00am and 9.30am on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. Fixed tariff £2.80 per day. No maximum stay. Permit holders may park during the permitted hours with no additional charge:-
PARK ROAD, Beckenham, the south west side, from a point 9m north west of the common boundary of Nos. 51 & 53 south eastwards for a distance of 15m (3 parking spaces).
Pay and Display/Telephone Parking System parking between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. 60p per hour. 2 hour maximum stay.
LYCH GATE ROAD, Orpington, the west side, (i) from a point 14m south of the southern kerbline of the entrance to the Orpington College car park southwards for a distance of 11m (2 parking spaces); (ii) from a point 12m north of the northern kerbline of the entrance to the Orpington College car park northwards for a distance of 37m (6 parking spaces).
