News Shopper is currently running a series of features on St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham.
The hospice was the first of the modern hospice movement when it opened in 1967 and to this day is a world leader in providing palliative care.
St Christopher’s looks after more than 2,000 people each year and we went to meet two of the hospice’s day patients to find out about the care they receive.
