THAMESMEAD put Saturday's heavy defeat behind them with an away win against Leyton.
Midfielder James Brown hit a superb goal in the 26th minute to take all three points away from east London, in a match which saw the Mead perform confidently.
Victory keeps Mead in the play-off spots in third going into Saturday's away fixture at Enfield Town.
