Elderly care home residents have been chosen to take part in an education programme.
The over-60s living at Edward Moore House in Trinity Road, Gravesend, have been selected to take part in the Group for Education in Museums' (GEM) Sounding Out Your Heritage project.
In workshops with experts from the world of media and art, they will learn about photography, music and dance, and be given the chance to create their own work, such as a photo exhibition.
National organisation GEM, which promotes learning in museums, is running the scheme at six care homes across Kent.
A spokesman said: "We hope that by building up participants’ confidence in an informal and enjoyable setting, the experience will encourage them to further pursue education."
