A MOTORIST had a lucky escape when the car he was driving flipped over in Swanley High Street following a crash.
The driver, believed to be in his 70s, had to be cut free from his black VW Polo by firefighters.
He was taken to Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup with minor injuries after his vehicle crashed into a roadside barrier at around 3.15pm on Friday (Feb 26).
A Mercedes was also damaged during the incident.
The road, which was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the incident, re-opened shortly after 4.20pm.
