What Car? Driving School has appointed its first instructors in the Kent area.
Sidcup businessman Paul Atkinson, who co-founded the school in conjunction with What Car?, said: “While What Car? Driving School already has a national presence, I’m really pleased that we’ve now found our first instructors to meet our quality criteria in my home county.”
The formation of What Car? Driving School follows a unique licensing deal agreed between former BSM managing director Mr Atkinson and What Car?’s publishers the Haymarket Media Group.
Continued Mr Atkinson: “Learners and their parents understand that there are good and bad instructors in the marketplace. Indeed there are many instructors who operate as trainees and are not fully qualified.
“In this confusing marketplace we provide a trusted solution: A What Car? Driving School five-star instructor ticks all the boxes on quality, safety and value for money. And the better the instructor, the better your chances are at passing the test.
“Paul Saunders and Paul Middlemass join us as foundation instructors and were selected on their qualifications, teaching abilities and positive customer attitude.”
Mr Saunders said: “I’m proud and excited about being one of the first instructors for what is set to become Britain’s pre-eminent driving school. I’m keen to hear from novice or intermediate learners who want to gain the knowledge and skills to pass their driving tests efficiently."
Mr Middlemass commented: “I am determined to train my new learners to achieve success at their practical test, but more importantly ensure that they have the skills to go on to be independent, safe and competent drivers.
"I’ve been impressed by the professional approach applied by What Car? Driving School and am keen to align my skills and experience to the organisation.”
