A DRIVER had to be rescued from his vehicle by firefighters after an accident yesterday (Feb 25).
The incident happened just after 6pm in Eltham Road, near Sutcliffe Park, when a motorbike and car collided.
Two ambulance crews and three fire engines attended the scene.
A man in his 30s was trapped in his vehicle and had to be released by the fire crews.
Ambulance staff took him to King’s College Hospital to treat his hand injuries.
A woman was treated for shock.
