A CHARITY for the deaf is running a free weekly aftercare clinic for hearing aid users.
Hi Kent, which supports people who are deaf and hard-of-hearing across the county, is holding the clinics in Gravesend every Wednesday.
The sessions will take place at the Age Concern in the Fleming Resource Centre, Clarence Row, Gravesend, from 9.30am to 11.30am.
Hi Kent chief executive John Clayton said: “People with NHS hearing aids can drop in and get them cleaned and re-tubed, and also collect fresh batteries free of charge.
“They can also get free advice and information on Hi Kent’s wide range of equipment, including special door entry systems, smoke alarms, telephones, conversation aids and television listening devices.”
