A STRATEGY which will guide planning policies in the borough for the next 15 to 20 years, is up for public comment.
Called the Preferred Approach, the public’s comments will help in the preparation of the core staregy document which will be a key part of the planning policies making up the Local Development Framework.
The framework will eventually replace the current unitary development plan.
The deadline is March 12 and people’s comments will be open for public inspection and may be used in reports prepared for councillors.
Consultation documents are available from all Bexley libraries, the contact centre at Bexley civic offices in Bexleyheath Broadway, the planning reception desk at Wyncham House, Longlands Road, Sidcup, and by calling 020 8308 7903.
Background documents, specialist studies and all the other consultation documents are also available on the council’s website at bexley.gov.uk
