DOG track staff and their punters have raised more than £1,600 for Help for Heroes at a night dedicated to the forces charity.
Crayford Greyhound Track in Stadium Way, Crayford, used individual dog sponsorship, a raffle and a stall at the trackside to raise £1,674.
A number of local businesses also sponsored races at the event.
Track marketing manager Diana Illingworth said: “We can’t thank everyone enough for their generous donations and hard work.
“The Help for Heroes charity is such a worthwhile cause and due to the response and interest shown, we shall be holding another event this coming September.”
