COMMUNITY groups are being encouraged to apply for cycling grants of up to £10,000.
Groups in greenwich are being targeted for the money, which comes from Transport for London’s community cycling fund.
Grants are available until March 26 and aim to help new cyclists from all backgrounds experience a greener, healthier way of travelling.
The fund’s cycling officer Rosie Tharp said: “We look forward to receiving many applications again this year and urge all community groups in Greenwich that are currently under-represented, to take this opportunity to get cycling.”
In addition to grants of up to £5000, a whopping £10,000 is available for particularly outstanding projects.
