A PHYSIOTHERAPIST space hopped across six of London’s bridges to raise money for a hospital.
Amy Harmsworth, a neurology physiotherapist at University Hospital Lewisham, spent one hour and 30 minutes running to each bridge and then space hopping across them.
The 28-year-old raised more than £740 for equipment used in the Beech ward, which helps treat and rehabilitate stroke patients.
Miss Harmsworth hopped across Lambeth Bridge, Westminster Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge, London Bridge and Tower Bridge.
One space hopper burst during training so she took two smaller ones along in a rucksack and ducktaped the bottom of the hopper she used during the challenge.
Miss Harmsworth of Earlsfield said: “I had an excellent time. I had a few strange looks and tourists were taking pictures but a lot of people were cheering me on.”
