Olympic diver Blake Aldridge
OLYMPIC diver Blake Aldridge has been bailed after being arrested in Beckenham on suspicion of shoplifting and assault.
Mr Aldridge, 27, was arrested in Tesco, Croydon Road, on Friday (February 19) after allegedly stealing two bottles of wine and hitting a security guard.
The athlete, from Beckenham, partnered 14-year-old Tom Daley at the Beijing Olympics.
Bromley police have confirmed a 27-year-old man was arrested at the supermarket on suspicion of shoplifting and causing actual bodily harm, and he has been bailed until March 18.
Officers are now investigating CCTV footage of the alleged offence.
