A NEW on-line service to help bus passengers find all the information they need, has just been launched.
The new web service will enable people to use a post code, street name, place of interest or bus route number to call up information such as the location of the nearest bus stops, details of bus routes that call at the bus stops and current route timetables.
It enables people to see the bus routes plotted on maps and they can zoom in on particular streets or drag the map to see surrounding areas.
London Mayor Boris Johnson’s transport advisor, Kulveer Ranger said: “Rather than huddling over a timetable, this puts passengers just a couple of clicks away from being able to see exactly where routes go and should make getting around on the bus much simpler.”
The new service can be accessed at tfl.gov.uk/busmaps
