FIREFIGHTERS found the body of a man when they were called to a house fire.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a blaze at a house on Lee Park in Blackheath on saturday, February 13.
Fire crews found the body of an older man on the first floor.
Part of first floor had been damaged by the fire.
The Brigade was called at 7.41am and the fire was under control by 8.31am.
Firefighters from Greenwich, East Greenwich, Lee Green and Deptford fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
