A NOISY neighbour has been fined for playing his music too loud following a series of complaints.
James Dean Caird, of Alamein Gardens, Dartford, was fined £500 after pleading guilty to five counts of breaching a noise abatement notice.
Caird has also had his CD player, speakers, amplifier and TV surround-sound system taken away.
Dartford Council gathered evidence against him using a noise recorder after residents complained about loud noise over several weeks.
Caird was also ordered to pay £300 costs and a £15 victim surcharge at Dartford Magistrates’ Court on February 12.
The abatement notice served on Caird by the council will remain and be enforced again if necessary.
