POLICE are appealing for information after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed.
The teenager was walking on his own along Waldram Park Road, Forest Hill, at around 11.45pm on Saturday, February 13.
He was followed by a large group of boys or young men who attacked him near the junction with Westbourne Drive.
The boy was stabbed but managed to run away from the group and get help.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by ambulance but has since been discharged.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Justina Vera-Cruz from Lewisham police said: “This was a vicious and unprovoked attack on a 16-year-old boy.
“I am appealing for anyone who saw a large group in Perry Vale or Dartmouth Road, and Waldram Park Road, at around midnight on Saturday to please get in touch.”
The suspects are described as aged 16 to 18 and were wearing dark clothing.
They are believed to have left in the direction of Perry Vale after the attack.
