NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 84(1)(c), (1A) & (2), 87 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) extend existing waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) introduce a variable speed limit as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(c) introduce new disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(d) remove the disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/541 not later than 10th March 2010.
Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting at any Time:-
LOVIBONDS AVENUE, Orpington, the north west side, from the north eastern kerbline of Starts Hill Road north eastwards to a point opposite the north eastern boundary of No. 4.
No Waiting between 8.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays to saturdays inclusive:-
COURT DOWNS ROAD, Beckenham, the south and south west side, from a point 17m east of the common boundary of Hamblehyrst and Fairleas westwards for a distance of 30m.
VARIABLE SPEED LIMIT
20mph speed limit between 8.00am and 9.00am, 12.30pm and 1.15pm, and between 2.45pm and 3.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:-
JAIL LANE, Biggin Hill between the common boundary of Nos. 77 & 79 and a point 30m west of the western kerbline of Single Street.
OLD TYE AVENUE, Biggin Hill between the south western kerbline of Jail Lane and the common boundary of Nos. 38 & 40.
