A PARTNERSHIP helping connect schools and young people with the world of business has won a national award for its work in the community.
The Bromley Education Business Partnership scooped the Education Business Excellence gong which recognised the partnership’s efforts in working with 100 businesses and 3,500 young people last year.
Staff and volunteers at the organisation, based in Church Lane, Bromley Common, help young people combine work experience with classroom education.
Partnership assessor Roger Allen said: “There is a great team ethos among the staff who are all committed to raising the achievement of young people and engaging them in learning through the local community and business.”
The award is run by the Institute for Education Business Excellence.
Anyone interested in volunteering for the partnership should call 020 8462 5046.
