THIRTEEN people have been arrested after two men were injured following a Millwall youth game.
Officers from West Midlands Police were called to the scene at 8.30pm on Friday night (Feb 12) after reports of disorder.
The incident happened following a youth cup match between the Lions and Aston Villa.
A 41-year-old had suffered bruising and another man, aged 42, suffered a cut to his head after being attacked with what police believe to be a bottle.
The incident is being treated as a racially aggravated assault.
A short time later police stopped a private minibus and 13 men aged from 20 to 40, all from London, were arrested in connection with the incident.
The minibus was a white transit van with 'Premier Travel Services' written on the side in blue lettering and dark tinted windows.
Anyone with information should contact the police on 0845 113 5000.
