A TEENAGER and a 10-year-old streetdancer have both beaten off competition to win two TV dance shows.
Akai Osei-Mansfield from Orpington won £100,000 after being crowned the winner of Sky One’s Got to Dance yesterday (February 14).
The youngster, who attends Class School of Dance based in Orpington, has said he would like to buy himself a mobile phone and donate some of the cash to charity.
The Princes Plain Primary School youngster who has only been dancing a year, won the title after beating five other dance acts.
And the previous day (February 13), people watching the BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance saw 19-year-old Charlie Bruce from Beckenham also walking away with £100,000 and the chance to fly to Hollywood.
The former sales assistant, of Wickham Road, faced competition from just two other finalists after another dancer pulled out with a dislocated shoulder.
Her mum, Sally, has previously said: “I hope she goes the whole way and I do think it is now Charlie’s turn.”
The programme was presented by Cat Deeley and saw the judges critique finalists competing for the title of Britain's favourite dancer.
