STUDENTS have been visited by a former Olympic triple jumper.
Athlete Michelle Robinson gave a talk to pupils at Wilmington Grammar School for Girls about Olympic values and how they are reflected in school life.
Youngsters at the school in Parsons Lane also took part in the Mat Attack Challenge, a dancing competition on wireless dance mats.
Year 7 pupils designed a poster about the Olympics, focussing on the history of the games and researching an athlete who demonstrates Olympic values.
Headteacher Maggie Bolton said: "The day provided a wonderful opportunity to set students fun yet challenging targets."
