A NEWLY married couple who are due to appear on a TV show have helped to open a ceremony room.

Grace and Jonathan Nash attended the opening of the Rose Room at Bromley Civic Centre on February 11.

Bromley Council spent around £45,000 on refurbishing the room to make it look modern, clean and fresh.

The couple from Turpington Lane, Bromley, had their wedding filmed in October in the grounds for Living TV’s Four Weddings show.

Mrs Nash said: “The new room is really neutral and pretty.

“I think it is important for a bride to feel comfortable in the room she is getting married in.”

The show sees four couples rate eachother’s wedding, with the winning pair getting their dream honeymoon.

The couple’s wedding will be aired on Living TV in March.

Bromley Council’s registrar service was recently assessed by the General Register Office as providing an ‘excellent’ service, both technically and how they deal with their customers.
