TWO youths who tried to snatch a handbag from a 55-year-old woman are being hunted by police.
The victim was walking through Queens Gardens, Bromley, after leaving The Glades shopping centre at around 5pm on January 30, when the would-be thieves struck.
One of them grabbed at the bag but the woman screamed and clung on so the boys ran off towards Kentish Way.
Police say the suspect who tried to snatch the bag is black, aged around 17, about 5ft 11in.
He is described as being of athletic build and was wearing a black hooded top.
The second suspect is also black, around the same age and the same build.
He is said to be slightly shorter at 5ft 8in and was wearing a grey hooded top.
