THAMESMEAD Town reclaimed second place in Division One North with a 4-1 victory at Waltham Forest tonight (Wednesday).
Top scorer Andy Constable gave them the lead with his 19th of the season in the 27th minute and Lewis Tozer headed a second on the stroke of half-time.
Forest got back into the game ten minutes after half-time with a free-kick from substitute Des Thomas which appeared to find its way untouched through a crowd of players in the goalmouth, though it might have brushed Ryan Oliva who was credited with the goal.
Lea Dawson then put the game out of Forest's reach, doubling his tally of league goals in the space of seven minutes with a long-range scorcher on the hour followed by a far-post header from a corner.
