A TEENAGER and a 10-year-old streetdancer have earned places in the finals of two TV dance shows.
Akai Osei-Mansfield from Orpington has beaten off competition from thousands of other hopefuls to gain a place in the live finals of Got to Dance.
The youngster, who attends Class School of Dance based in Orpington, will try to battle it out with five other acts all hoping to be crowned the dance champion.
The Princes Plain Primary School youngster's audition clip has already been viewed 84,000 times on YouTube and if he wins the competition he could walk away with £100,000.
Meanwhile viewers watching the BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance will see 19-year-old Charlie Bruce from Beckenham hoping to win the top spot.
The former sales assistant, of Wickham Road, specialises in ballet and jazz but has had her skills put to the test during the show by having to perform a range of dancing styles.
On Saturday she will battle it out with three other dancers.
The programme is presented by Cat Deeley and sees the judges critique finalists competing for the title of Britain's favourite dancer.
The 19-year-old was selected as part of the top 14 from a national audition tour for a series of live Saturday night studio shows.
Her mum, Sally, has previously said: “I hope she goes the whole way and I do think it is now Charlie’s turn.”
Charlie will perform on February 13 at 7.45pm on BBC One and Akai will take his place in the dance final on Got To Dance the following day on Sky1 & Sky1 HD at 6pm.
