Shelley Bennett will run the ASICS British 10K London Run in July for Diabetes UK
THE founder of a support group for people with diabetes is appealing for sponsors for her charity fun run.
Shelley Bennett, who established Circle D, a support group for other 18 to 30-year-old diabetes sufferers in north Kent, is taking part in the ASICS British 10K London Run in July.
The 26-year-old, of Britannia Drive in Gravesend, is asking for people to sponsor her and plans to give all the money raised to charity Diabetes UK.
She said: “Diabetes UK supports people with the condition across the country and does research into treatment, so it would be fabulous to raise lots of money for the charity.”
