WITH more than 30 detailed layouts on show, model railway enthusiasts were spoilt for choice at Erith Model Railway Society’s latest exhibition.
Held at Temple Hill Primary School in Edmund Road, Dartford, at the weekend, other clubs from across the south east took the chance to show off their expertise with intricate scale models of both trains and rolling stock as well as stations and their surrounding countryside.
There was a chance to learn about the latest in layout design with a large number of trade organisations exhibiting everything from model trees to weathered train wagons.
A number of other model train groups also had stands.
During the two-day event, the society also held raffles to fundraise for the DGSMyourchoice charity which provides help and support to people with learning disabilities and their carers.
