LEGO is not usually thought of as something which can keep young workers safe.
But two Year 9 students at Charles Darwin School, Jail Lane, Biggin Hill, have changed this view by creating an animated film.
Ryan Torrance and Paul Burgess, both 14, made their movie using Lego men and a Lego lorry to show the dangers vehicles in the workplace can pose to young people.
The film was entered into a national British Safety Council competition and was highly commended by the judges.
IT teacher John Riddle, who runs the school’s animation club with IT instructor Michael Bishop said: “These two young men have been very dedicated to the task, completing hundreds of photographs of Lego creations and blending them into their animated movie.
“They are a real credit to the school.”
