Ryan Giggs, Sports Personality of the year? Farcical, isn't it? He shouldn't even have been on the list. What were his achievements this year?

His achievements this year don't even come close to those of world heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis. As for personality, don't even get me started!

The top two, Ryan Giggs and Jenson Button, are both highly overpaid professionals in 'sports' that rarely exemplify much sportsmanlike conduct.

Jessica Ennis would have been a much more appropriate choice, a true champion overcoming adversity to achieve what she did this year and a true sports personality.

The BBC has now lost even more credibility - and as a wise old sage said "Giggs looked as sheepish as Obama in Norway.......with good reason".
