'Morning all. Not exactly a whinge today but more an observation of the absurd.

This morning, the BBC had a demonstration of how to joint a chicken prior to cooking it. A great idea with the period brewing in which our stomachs are to be over-sated at the festive board.

But what channel did they present it on?

BBC1 ?

BBC2 ?

BBC3 or 4 or any of the other TV channels?

No, they gave a butchery demonstration on BBC Radio 4 !

Can anything ever have been more pointless.

This was on Woman's hours which, as a byline, begs the question why we don't have Man's hour?

OK that's it for today. Back to your own beds and smoke 'em if you've got 'em (and you can find anywhere to smoke 'em in).
