TSpring Park Film Makers has announced the club’s awards for the best films of 2009.
The judges gave Tony Shepherd a special award for outstanding photography for his nature film “From My Armchair”.
As he was a founder member of the West Wickham club in 1967 this was a special moment for Tony a winner of countless trophies – he obviously hasn’t lost his touch.
Gerald Pecksen got two major pieces of silverware for his film “Thomas Bartlett Made Me” about renewing church bells.
Gordon Loomes picked up the plate for the most innovative film and Dorothy Batten and Pam Smith walked way with the award for the best comedy film.
Spring Park Film Makers are a club for amateur camcorder users.
They meet every Thursday at 8pm at the Emmanuel Church, The Grove, West Wickham.
