We celebrated our 60 years as an Institute with a birthday dinner.
Sixty six members attended and our MC for the evening was Mr John Yarrow.
Two of our members, Mrs Joan Bowler and Mrs Pauline Scott made our anniversary cake and another two members, Pat Cumner and Janet Cumner, made bookmarks for every member to commemorate the evening.
Flowers were presented to our President Mrs Linda Wills to acknowledge all her hard work in organising the evening.
Our next meeting is on November 10th and our speaker is Mr Neil Arnold, his subject "Big Cats."
We meet at the Memorial Hall in Lewis Road at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome.
