A FREE family fun day has been organised to celebrate Greenwich's involvement in the 2012 Olympic games.
The event will run from 11am to 3pm on October 31 at the Woolwich Artillery Barracks which will be hosting shooting events.
Greenwich Council leader, Councillor Chris Roberts, said: "It's an opportunity to let residents know more about what is planned for Greenwich during the games and more importantly our commitment to make sure that the games will deliver long-lasting benefits to the people of this borough.
“We will be announcing our legacy plans and a cheque, representing a significant part of the £17.5 million, will be presented for the Greenwich Olympic legacy fund.”
