FAMILIES got frog fever during a fun day at an ecology park.

National Frog Day was celebrated with a series of froggy activities at Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park, off John Harrison Way, Greenwich, on March 7.

The day marks the time of year frogs can be seen out in the open as they journey to their breeding ponds to spawn.

National Frog Day aims to raise awareness of the plight of frogs, whose numbers are declining due to loss of habitat and a virus transmitted by ornamental fish in ponds.
