SIGHT and occasionally sound are the only senses we currently use when reading an email.
However, soon we might be able to smell our emails as well.
Scent domes, which emit an aroma linked to the message, could soon add another dimension to emails.
A £250 gadget, being developed by Telewest Broadband, will plug into a broadband-connected computer in the same way as a printer or scanner.
It will initially have 20 basic aromas which can be mixed to produce up to 60 different smells.
It is said this new gizmo will enhance users' online experience.
