A 52-YEAR-OLD man will appear at the Old Bailey accused of murdering his brother.
Richard Coore, of Filton Court, Avonley Road, New Cross, was due to appear at Greenwich Magistrates' Court today (September 22) charged with murder and arson.
Coore did not appear in court in person, but he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on December 29, when he is expected to enter a plea.
Firefighters found the body of 65-year-old Perseus Coore, from High Wycombe, when they were called to a fire at a second-floor flat in Filton Court at 1pm on September 8.
A post-mortem examination found he had suffered multiple stab wounds.
