HEALTH chiefs are urging clubbers to avoid sexually transmitted diseases by taking precautions.
Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Primary Care Trust (PCT) will bring its Don't Be Unlucky This Weekend message to partygoers at Dartford's Air and Breathe nightclub, on Essex Road, on Friday.
Free condoms and sexual health information cards will be given out to all revellers at the club and safe sex messages will be beamed onto the club's walls.
Air and Breathe manager Steve Bains said: "Thousands of young people visit here every week.
"This is the ideal place for the health team to make information available to allow ourcustomers to make better informed choices."
The event will promote safe sex and the use of condoms and information will be available about the health and advice services available to young people.
PCT outreach worker Gill Goodes said: "It is great to have such excellent support from the whole team at Air and Breathe.
"It is the perfect opportunity for young people to get the right information in the right place and at the right time."
