A TEENAGER will appear in court today accused of an attack at a train station which left a man in a coma.
Daryl Traille, aged 19, of Hatcham Park Road, New Cross, has been charged with GBH and will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
Lee Christopher, 39, from New Cross, remains in a critical condition in hospital after the alleged assault at Deptford station on July 24.
A second man arrested, aged 19 from Thamesmead, has been bailed to return to police on September 6 pending further inquiries.
Police are still looking to trace a witness to the incident, which took place at around midnight on the 11.40pm Charing Cross to Dartford Southeastern service.
Detective Superintendent Ashley Croft said: “From our inquiries we now know that a black man wearing a cap, of broad build, may have intervened during the assault and I ask him to come forward and talk to us.”
