TWO teenagers have been arrested in connection with a train station attack which left a man in a coma.
Lee Christopher, 39, from New Cross, was assaulted at Deptford station at around midnight on July 24 after an altercation on a train.
He remains in hospital in a critical condition.
CCTV pictures of two suspects were released by British Transport Police yesterday (August 4).
Two 19-year-olds, one from New Cross and another from Thamesmead, have now been arrested.
Police are still looking to trace a witness to the incident, which took place on the 11.40pm Charing Cross to Dartford Southeastern service.
Detective Superintendent Ashley Croft said: “From our inquiries we now know that a black man wearing a cap, of broad build, may have intervened during the assault and I ask him to come forward and talk to us.”
