ROTARY club volunteers helped a group of sea cadets clean up their unit.
Cadets from TS Narvik, a branch of the Sea Cadets, enlisted volunteers from the Rotary Club of Bromley to help tidy and make minor repairs to their unit.
The overgrown grounds of the building in Magpie Hall Lane, Bromley Common, were also trimmed back with the help of the rotary club’s president, Adrian Lawrence.
A spokesman for the club said: “Every hour helped, improved the training environment for cadets and saves resources, instead of paying to get things fixed.”
The unit is charged with maintaining its own buildings and grounds and receives no assistance from the national Sea Cadets organisation or the Royal Navy.
