MEOPHAM: Police trying to trace driver overtaken by high-speed car
POLICE are appealing to the driver of a silver Vauxhall Corsa that was overtaken by a car at very high speed to contact them.
The Corsa was overtaken by a silver Peugeot 106 in Harvel Road, Meopham, in the early hours of last Wednesday (July 29).
The Peugeot had earlier failed to stop for police when requested to do so.
Shortly after it had overtaken the Corsa, the Peugeot came to a stop in Birling Hill, Snodland, after the driver had apparently lost control of the car.
Police are keen to trace the driver of the Corsa as they may have information that can help their inquiry.

- A 23-year-old man was arrested and later bailed in connection with this incident.
