A ROTARY club has splashed out to help improve the circulation of residents living in a care home.
Chislehurst Rotary Club has spent £1,000 on equipment aimed at easing swelling and discomfort for those with limited mobility at St Cecilia’s in Sundridge Avenue, Bickley.
Outgoing president of Chislehurst Rotary Club, Harold South, said: “All those who come to our firework display and contribute to our Christmas collections can be reassured that we use every penny they donate wisely.
“The majority of our donations go to local projects and we are glad to be able to help some of the residents of St Cecilia’s this year.”
The equipment, which uses an air pump to improve circulation, was presented to the home’s 30 residents last Wednesday (July 29).
