If my iPod Touch was a postal worker or Tube driver it would probably be threatening to go on strike by now due to be being overworked.
I’ve certainly been pushing it to the limit of what might be reasonably expected from a gadget after receiving a ton of new games in the past couple of weeks.
You can already read my verdicts on many of them in our game reviews section.
I’m still in double figures for how many other reviews I still need to do.
Among the games I’ll be writing about in the near future is Minigore, a stylish but very bloody twin-stick shoot-em-up from Chillingo.
Some people have already raised concerns about Minigore’s supposed lack of depth. But some other notable iPhone/iPod games, Flight Control being one that springs to mind, have still done very well despite not offering vast amount of content or variety. I’ll let you know what I think soon.
I’ll also be reviewing a fantastic new traffic management game called Taxi Jam, which I am absolutely loving so far. The top-down touch-controlled game involves sending a fleet of cabs out on to the streets of New York (London and Paris can be unlocked), picking passengers up and getting them to their destinations as quickly as possible.
Another one on my list is TouchKO, a new boxing sim. I’ve only had some brief time with this one so far but what’s already clear is that it is a feat of technical excellence.
Also on my list are cute platformer Toki Tori, futuristic racer Phaze, real time strategy game Quantum Collapse and remake of the Amiga classic Pinball Fantasies.
Stay tuned to our games section for all these reviews and more, including previews, news and videos.
