FOLLOWING news that race scenes for the latest Harry Potter movie have been filmed at the Dartford Crossing, News Shopper is looking for other film sets in our area.
Race scenes for the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 were filmed at the tunnel yesterday.
But the News Shopper area has plenty of other places which have been used as blockbuster film locations.
Last year we reported how Greenwich firefighters were called by worried residents who thought Greenwich Park was on fire, when in fact fog was being pumped in for scenes from horror film The Wolfman.
When legendary director Stanley Kubrick was looking for a backdrop for scenes in his 1970s classic A Clockwork Orange, he chose Thamesmead.
And Biggin Hill airport, often the setting for Battle of Britain films in the 1950s, was recently used to film scenes for Hollywood hit The Da Vinci Code.
