FIREFIGHTERS were forced to cut a woman free from her car after an accident in Beckenham on Wednesday (July 29).
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Rectory Road at around 7.15pm after a Mercedes and Peugeot were involved in an accident outside Beckenham Junction railway station.
The driver of the Mercedes, thought to be in her 40s, was cut free from the car after paramedics became concerned she had back injuries.
Firefighters told News Shopper the woman’s injuries did not appear life threatening and she was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Crews from Beckenham fire station were at the scene for under an hour.
